HeartBeat has teamed up with the HSE Community Work Dept & CHN3 to present a special Heart, Health & Wellbeing Day at Killarney Outlet Centre on Friday 20th September from 11am until 2.30pm.
There will be over 20 stands manned by specialists in their different fields available to offer advice and help. There will also be 4 talks during the day (with limited space for 40 people per talk so tickets are essential. These are free tickets and will be first come first served basis):
- 12pm to 12.50pm - Adult Speech & Language Therapist (HSE) Una Moynihan - Speech Therapy Post Stroke and other speech problems
- 1pm to 1.50pm - Nutritionist Paula Duggan - How to treat Nutrition and Weight Loss in a balanced & positive way
- 2pm to 2.50pm - Senior Physiotherapist (HSE) Catherine Lyne - The importance of movement and keeping fit to help stay healthy
- 3pm to 4pm - Cardiologist Dr Haytham Makki - Heart Health and symptoms of difficulties to be aware of in women and men
