1. Promoter
The raffle is promoted by HeartBeat Killarney Kerry, hereinafter referred to as “the Promoter”.
2. Purpose
All proceeds from this raffle will be used to support the charitable objectives of HeartBeat Killarney Kerry, including the purchase and placement of lifesaving defibrillators, and other community heart health initiatives.
3. Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older on the date of the prize draw.
The raffle is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland unless otherwise stated.
Committee members of HeartBeat Killarney Kerry, together with any immediate family members involved in the administration of the raffle, may not enter.
4. Entry
Entry is obtained by purchasing an official HeartBeat Killarney Kerry raffle ticket (online or printed ticket).
Each raffle ticket purchased represents one entry into the draw unless otherwise stated.
Ticket prices are those displayed on the official HeartBeat Killarney Kerry website and promotional materials.
There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase unless otherwise specified.
Entries are only valid once full payment has been successfully received.
5. Closing Date
Entries must be received before the published closing date and time.
Any entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.
6. The Prize
The prize(s) available are those advertised on the official HeartBeat Killarney Kerry raffle page and promotional material.
No cash alternative will be offered unless expressly stated by the Promoter.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
7. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the closing date.
The draw will take place on the published draw date.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted using the telephone number and/or email address supplied at the time of ticket purchase.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, or fails to claim the prize within the stated timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
9. Prize Collection
Winners may be required to provide suitable photographic identification before receiving their prize.
Where applicable, prizes may be collected in person or delivered by arrangement with the Promoter.
Any costs associated with collecting or using the prize are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
10. Publicity
By accepting a prize, winners agree that HeartBeat Killarney Kerry may publish their name, general location (e.g. town or county) and photographs for promotional purposes unless prohibited by law or where the winner has requested otherwise for legitimate privacy reasons.
11. Data Protection
Personal information collected during ticket sales will only be used for administering the raffle and communicating with entrants.
Information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
12. Cancellation or Amendment
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the raffle where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or where required by law or regulatory authorities.
13. Liability
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are delayed, lost, incomplete or not successfully received.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant or winner except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
14. Lottery Licence
This raffle is conducted in accordance with the applicable Irish gaming and lottery legislation and any licence or permit granted for the event. All entrants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and any applicable legal requirements.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
16. Acceptance
By purchasing a raffle ticket, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
