IHF’s “Cardiac Rehab for All” Programme

For many patients & their families, being diagnosed with heart disease can be a frightening & upsetting experience, but we know that patients who receive good education, information & support after their diagnosis go on to manage their condition effectively.

This is the goal of the Irish Heart Foundation’s “Cardiac Rehab for All” Programme. This programme consisting of videos and a book that provides information on managing risk factors and heart health, explains how people living with heart disease can improve their quality of life, and offers a home-based exercise plan.
